Cretoxyrhina mantelli Tooth

Cretoxyrhina mantelli Tooth
Late Cretaceous
Niobrara Formation

Very similiar to today’s Great White shark, only the largest of mosasaurs would have been a match for this vicious mega-predator of the Western Interior Seaway. Sometimes called the “Ginsu shark”
a number of marine reptile bones have been found with Cretoxyrhina teeth embedded in them.

This is a replica of the original fossil, cast in quality polyresin and hand painted.
Size: 1 1/2 inches
